September 01. 2004 07:13 The flightActually, this was started at about 3 on the 1st and ended at 7.13 on the 2nd, but for clarity's sake I've put it on the 1st. Whoooh... I'm at the airport. I'm actually too excited to write but I'll try anyway. My and my boyfriend's life's been a mess for the last few days. I've been packing like crazy and our moving took 3 days. The actual moving day was a catastrophe, it took us 4 hours to get the last stuff packed and the first load into the car, and we continued until midnight. Then it took one day to get the rest of the stuff out and clean the place, and then one more to take the last boxes to the warehouse. Buying shoes, changing money, meeting family and packing my suitcase(s) took the last day at home. I closed and opened again my case like 5 times before I coulg get it light enough. I'm pretty sure I haven't slept more than 6 hours for the last 5-6 nights. Today my pulse has been up ever since the morning, and even though we're sitting next to a café that sends nice smells, I haven't felt like eating for the last couple of hours. A while ago my fligh appeared on the departing flights screen. I'm nervous. Well, actually I'm excited, but physically I feel nervous. Soon I'll be sitting in a plane for almost 10 hours! And then I'll be in Japan!! :D ... continued ... Woo yeah! There's Inu-Yasha's opening One Day One Dream (by Tackey & Tsubasa) on the plane radio! Oh joy :D I had forgotten how nice long distance flights are. The plane's so big you almost can't feel the pressure changes, and there's radio, movies and other program. And the clouds are so pretty. I got to choose a window seat. The scenery looked like little toys until it was wiped over by a fluffy field of clouds. It is interesting how clouds gather as layers. We went through at least 5 layers until I stopped counting. The movies for the flight were Along Came Polly, an american romantic comedy if you didn't know, and an interesting Japanese thriller called g@me. It had more plot twists than 5 American movies together and it still managed to keep my interest up. I liked it a lot and I'm happy I stayed awake to watch it, even though that meant I barely got a wink of sleep. But, I don't think I could've slept anyway, since my legs start bothering me when I try to sleep in a cold or drafty place. The next few days I'm going to take easy and sleep! |
