Ouch! That stings!

Damn, vaccination is expensive! I bought 3 shots for the A and B hepatitis and 3 for the Japanese encephalitis, and the total was over 160 euros. My goodness... But a thing like vaccination, whatever it costs, it's kinda essential. I'll rather pay that load of money now than come back with some lethal disease... Same thing goes for insurance. And the thing that made my vaccination shots even more difficult was that the vaccination department at the city health care center is closed this month. The vaccinations are given during one month and there needs to be some extra time before the trip, so I was actually in a bit of a hurry already. They said that the only option was a private doctor, which, of course, costs more. I decided not to mind the risk of an allergic reaction that needs immediate hospital care and asked my parent's neighbour, who is a doctor, to give me the shots at home. Thankfully, I didn't get any allergic reactions, only sore muscles.

The reason I'm up at this hour writing my diary is that I just came from a nightshift at work. There was this unbelievably incompetent guy with us, who couldn't do anything right and slowed us down. We had to check up on him all the time to make sure he didn't do any mistakes... And it's a good thing we did, I prevented several ones that would've gotten the officers to yell at us. Regular work is tough, but it's even tougher when you have to keep watch of another person's mistakes all the time... But we had lots of free time because that guy was so slow, so we talked the night off about Japan and houses and a hat maker who travelled the world during the second world war. It's nice to have some friends to chat with at work.
