Paperwork

Woot! I reserved and paid for my tickets last week. I was supposed to write about it right away, but then I got busy. I bought my tickets from Kilroy, and they managed to get straight flights to Kyoto and back. I have to leave from Helsinki, but that's not such a problem. I can go spend a day there and play Dance Dance Revolution with the local anime fans or something ^_^ The tickets cost about 1020 euros... That's a lot of money to spend in a second ^_^;; I hope I'll get most of it back from the scholarships.

I found a half price coupon for passport photos so I took my pics last Saturday. I also left my AMK scholarship application to Antonella's post box last Friday and the International Student Identity Card will be sent with my tickets from Kilroy, so I got lots of things done last week. This week I'm gonna go to my insurance company and find out what kind of an insurance I have, because I need it when we leave for Budapest next Thursday. Then I have most of the urgent matters under control. I have to ask Mr. Rodgers for some details about the forms I got from Japan before I can finish filling them out, and then the rest is basically done. Only the credits for the courses are still a bit blurry. Getting a job for summer is the only really pressing matter. And actually, I'm already horrifically late with that...

I decided to stay in Japan over Christmas. I'll leave on September 1st and come back on January 22nd. I thought it over and over and decided it's more important to stay there for as long as possible since I can. I'm still against spending Christmas away from home (because it's my favourite holiday and I love my family ^_^), but this is an exception.

Well, now back to work. Or actually, back to not working... It's the 3rd last day of my internship and I don't think there's anything big for me to do anymore. Right now, nobody's asking me to do their small stuff either, so I'm just spending my time writing essays and diary ^_^
