January 18. 2004 00:13 What a great dayAa! I'm leaving in 5 days! Today and 3 more days left, on Saturday I won't have any time to go anywhere. One of those days I'll go to Nara, I'm pretty sure about that, it'll be either Thursday or Friday after Japanese class. There's this really interesting looking shrine on top of one of the mountains, and I'm trying to get Dion to go there with me on one of the days. Today I thought I could go downtown and get the last souvenirs, then that'd be all over with, and then I could pack. I've already sent 2 packages, I think there'll be 2 more, but I need to find a cardboard box of the right size to fit the Hikaru no Go artbook in it. My room is starting to look pretty empty now... Spending the night at Wuon-Gean's was very nice. We ate and played cards, then got really tired (pretty soon because we started so late) and went to bed, and woke up at nine because Wuon-Gean went to print her exhibition promotion cards, and then we had breakfast together. Breakfast together, that was maybe the best part of it all ^__^ This is the first time in my life I've lived alone. It was so great to eat breakfast with someone. I love mornings when you don't have to rush off to school or some other event. I'm sad that I only got to know Wuon-Gean at this point, I really have no time to spend with her. We could've had so much fun. But we exchanged contact information, so we can be in touch after this too ^_^ I'd actually love to go to London to see her sometime, I've always wanted to go to London again. I've been there once, but I only had a couple of hours for myself, I'd like to go there with a bit more time. I hope Wuon-Gean gets lots of visitors in her exhibition. (As a shameless plug that probably doesn't help, it's at Nasic Square Gallery a bit north of Kyoto Station on the 28th to 31st of this month, from 12 to 18. With a party on Saturday at 15-18 ^_^) Nothing much has happened yet today, I came up from Wuon-Gean's place and ate lunch at school, then came here to freshen up. I saw Dion at lunch and said I'll be coming to bother him again today, but I think I'll go downtown first and then go there afterwards. I'll arrange my things just a bit more now and then leave, but I think I won't be able to do much with my stuff before I get another cardboard box. Oh yeah, I was supposed to check my mail first, now I remember why I came to the computer in the first place ^_^ Hehehe, spam mail is sometimes so funny. We had a character called Seth in a role-playing game once and at that time there was a lot of spam coming from a "Seth" asking for a date or something like that. It was very funny when connected to the character ^_^ Now I got a spam that had just "Dion" as the topic. That actually makes me think, was that on purpose? Are spam bots intelligent enough nowadays to pick words from around an e-mail address and make them the topic, so that it'll look like it's a real e-mail concerning something that's really related to the person? Or did someone actually go through the trouble to search out a topic that'd make me open the mail? Or is it just a really weird coincidence? Spam is getting more and more clever all the time. Sometimes I have no other choice than to open the mail to see if it really is spam or just someone who wasn't very creative with the topic line. I'm always afraid I'm deleting important mail. I hope I'm not. ... Aah, I'm feeling veeery nice and drunk... Happy~ *^___^* I realized after I left that I have so much money left, more than I can spend! I have like 100 000 yen left. It's so differnet from anything I've felt before, having so much money that you'd actually have to work to get rid of it all O_o I spent shitloads of money downtown, bought all but two of the souvenirs I have to get and a bunch of artbooks and used CDs for myself. I even found the Midare somenishi manga commanderJay was asking for! That's so great! ^___^ But I couldn't find the Gackt CD for Jaakko yet, I wonder if it even exists... Well, I could try and get hold of him with Messenger and ask more details, and if I can't find it I can take some other Gackt CD. (Sidenote: Oh, I really am drunk. Writing is realy fun when drunk *^___^*) I finally got myself Japanese underwear, too! I didn't try it on, though, so I'm not sure it fits well... But there aren't even A cup bra here, so I've kinda given up getting perfect underwear, so I just took some nice looking ones that should fit me. It'll be okay. So then we get to why I'm drunk, right? I went to bother Dion after I came back, like I promised. I was kinda looking for dinner company and when we headed out of his room, he suddenly went to ask Richard if he would come to a manga bar and eat a lot and get drunk. I wasn't expecting it to turn out to be a drinking trip but maybe he felt like he had to offer me something more fun than sitting at the school cafeteria. (At times like these it seems like he's a really nice guy after all... It's so difficult to figure him out. ^_^) It was really fun ^__^ It's apparently a place they go often to, the boys. The bartender is constantly making food and giving more sake... It was great. We got a lot of very very delicious pineapple for dessert! I love pineapple! ^_______^ It looked like the bartender was collecting all sorts of stuff, the tableware were expensive ceramics and he had some dolls and everything. And lots of manga, too, it was a manga bar after all. Another customer who was there at the same time ended up giving Richard a very expensive piece of ceramics! Sigh of content. I kinda felt like I had not drunk enough when we left, but right now I'm feeling perfect. I'm finishing the last drops of the Salmiakki Koskenkorva that was left from the sleepover at Wuon-Gean's and listening to a brand new Exile CD. Wee~! ^__^ Now I might take a look at all the pretty artbooks I got today and then try and pack them and go to sleep... Maybe I'll get Dion to go to that mountain (called Hiei, maybe) tomorrow... Or if not, I'm just happy that I had so much fun tonight ^__^ If not, I'll pack the rest of my stuff, finish my account at the bank and prepare other stuff so I'll be ready to leave. Nara will still have to wait until Thursday or Friday. I still have to read a bit about it from Dion's Kyoto guide because I packed mine away and sent it home already ^_^;;; (If I don't, I don't know where to go there. And that'd be just a waste.) Hahaha, it was fun having one drunk entry here. Or at least half a one ^__^ Though I guess I doesn't show that much to other people, they can't feel the content that is flowing through me right now... But what matters is what I feel right now, right? And I'm happy ^___^ |
