Kiriban rules
1. Proof: You have to present a screenshot of the counter showing the same number as the next kiriban number is. You can get that by hitting the "print screen" (or "prt scr" or something like that) key on your keyboard, opening a imaging program (Paint works), opening a new document and pasting the image there (Ctrl + v). Send the image to me by e-mail to
. You can also upload it to the web and send me the address. If you can't get a screenshot, you can save the little image that shows the counter number.
2. Media: You can ask for any sort of an image in A4 size. It can be for example pencil, pen, ink, markers, watercolour, CG, even paper cuttings or photography if you so wish. I prefer drawings, but it's your pick. (It should be 2D, though.) I reserve the right to say no if your wish is too difficult for me.
3. Content: The content can also be anything you want. It can be a character or a scenery or an item, anything from your self-created things to fan art from a series or a movie. If you want me to draw something that exists (in a story or otherwise), you have to present a sufficient description of it, either in text or images. I won't do research for you. I'm good with people and nature, but I'll try and do my best if you ask for something different. I'm quite liberal even when it comes to nudity, sex, violence and other "questionable" content, but I reserve the right to say no if what you ask for just feels too wrong for me. You can try and make it sound very interesting, though.
4. Style: This is the part you have the least to say in, sorry. You can say whether you want your drawing in anime/manga style or more realistic, but that's about as much as I can do ^_^;; If you really want something different, I can try, but I won't promise it'll be good.
5. Delivery: The finished image will be in digital format (jpg/gif/png) with max 150 dpi resolution. 72 dpi is the norm. I can send the finished image to you in e-mail or I can upload it to the web and give you the address.
6. Rights: You have the right to present the image in print or on your website, with credits to me, but you don't have the right to reproduce it or sell or ask money for it. You may not use the image or any part of it in another work without my consent. I will hold the copyrights to the image.
7. The rest: I will upload the image to this website, into the Gifts section, as one of the kiriban gifts. If you don't want your name (or a nick you specify) mentioned with the image, please say so. If you have a website, I can link it. (Unless it's a porn site or something illegal -_-;;) If you put the kiriban on your site, or in the web in general, I'd love a link to my site, but you don't have to do it if you don't want to.
Kiriban?
A kiriban is a gift for the Visitor Number XXXX. It's pretty popular with some art sites, and I thought I'd take on the custom so it'd force me to do something unusual, new and interesting every now and then ^_^ So if you get the numbers of the counter and the kiriban target to match, you can request an image from me. But before that, please read my rules.
